Legends of Wrestling Clinic

The Howell Wrestling Club was proud to host a “Legends of Wrestling” clinic, Tuesday September 9th, featuring Olympic gold medalists Jeff Blatnick (1984) and Kendall Cross (1996). The Legends of Wrestling tour promoted the 2003 World Championships of Freestyle Wrestling held September 12-14 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The clinic provided motivational speeches, wrestling instruction, promotion of the World Championships, and an autograph session. Admission to the event was free, and the kids and coaches really got a lot out of it.
Jeff Blatnick is a 2x Div. II NCAA Champion and a 1984 Olympic Champion. Kendall Cross is a NCAA Champion, a 3X US National Champion, and 1996 Olympic Champion.
